DUBCNN TV: Exclusive Interview with Game
« on: May 24, 2010, 10:06:49 AM »
Last time we spoke with Game he was knee deep in the recording of his latest album "RED Album" with super producer Pharrell. This time we've met up with him after the completion of the album and we got to discuss with him his music videos, working with DJ Skee, Kanary Diamonds, and his children's love for Justin Bieber.

Dubcnn TV: Exclusive Interview Game (Video/Text)

Stay tuned for more on Game and the RED Album.

Alright that's what's up dude. So tell us about the mixtape, it just came out, really hot, everyone loves it.
???
if anything, the reviews are mixed.

Dubcnn: So Dre. I know Dre's working a lot with you too, you guys linked up in the end after taking a break from working together. What exactly is his involvement in this new R.E.D. album? Is he producing tracks?

Game: As far as Dre's involvement, man June 15th that's the date man, you gonna have to wait on Dre.
lol at this strategy, as if that is going to boost his album sales.

I would be very happy if one of the interviewers would man up and let game know that he's dropping weak shit

Maybe it's because people are finally realizing that the Game sucks, he has always sucked, and the only reason why people like him is, his production is usually pretty good, and superficially, he reminds us of the good old days. The majority of people are stupid. That's a fact of life. That's why TV, music, movies, etc. basically all forms of entertainment, are all steadily decreasing in overall quality. Ask the average 15 year old who the best rapper is. 9/10, he'll say Lil Wayne, or some other stupid answer.

Music quality is getting past the point of taste and opinion. Rap music especially has been getting worse, and worse, and worse, year after year after year. That's because the youth of America, is getting dumber, and dumber and dumber. The Game represents this transition. The transition between quality, some what intelligent music, with artistic integrity... and just plain shit for the stupid masses.

He's the last west coast mainstream rapper to even have a shot at releasing a successful album on a major label. That doesn't make him good. And it isn't helping the west coast music industry. The Game could sell 10 million albums the first week. Guess what? Snoop would still flop. Xzibit would still flop. Cube would still flop. Any artist with talent would still flop. So what would happen? The music industry would invent a new rapper, who sounds like Game, raps like Game, and basically is a carbon copy of the Game. The same thing happened with Lil Wayne, then Drake. The industry takes an ordinary kid, middle class, creates an overblown persona, and basically hands him a career, then if this kid makes it, a new kid, a "protege" comes along. The Game and Lil Wayne represent the death of rap music. And by liking it, by buying this music, you yourself are killing music all together. Buying albums released by major labels, is what is killing the music industry. Stupid people, buying stupid albums.

By supporting The Game, and buying his music, you are doing exactly the opposite of what you think you are doing. Supporting west coast hip-hop. The only way to improve the quality of music, is to not buy a single album released by a major label. If you do, the cycle of crappy music continues. Don't buy this album. Not just because The Game sucks as an artist, and is a generally stupid person. But because it's the only way to get music (especially west coast rap music) back on track.

last game's singles were so wack that i've lost my interest for him. i'll check him back when RED is out but that would be the last chance i'll be giving to him because L.A.X  was already SHIT.

+1. The RED mixtape was so-so. Heres to hoping that RED is better.

Isn't Drake dropping June 15th too ????
