Met a Football/Soccer Legend today..Eusebio! Pictures Inside.

Eusebio was in Toronto, Canada promoting with Rogers and being inducted into the hall of fame with the Toronto Metros-Croatia team he played with here for a year.

I met him down at the Rogers building and it was actually somewhat disappointing. A lot of ppl were there but not many looked Portuguese. I had brought an old Portugal jersey for him to sign that I planned to frame later (while wearing my new red Portugal jersey haha), only to find out they weren't letting him sign any memorabilia, but only these little photos of him (tagged with the "Rogers" logo of course -- they were paying him to be there).

The photo wasn't bad but it would have been nice to to get the jersey signed.

On top of it, he had a pretty bad attitude. Eusebio came off as rude and really just a grumpy old man. No exaggeration, he did not make eye contact with a SINGLE person there to get his autograph. He just looked down the entire time, signing photos. Not even shaking hands, allowing a word, absolutely nothing. NOT EVEN EYE CONTACT. It was pretty weird actually.

Even his manager (Brazilian) standing next to him handing the photos to him to sign, and then handing the photos to the people after Eusebio signed them (that's right, Eusebio wouldn't even hand you the picture he signed) commented on my Portugal jersey and jokingly said "I should be watching the national team game instead of being here" and I told him I was watching the game and gave him the 2-0 update (at the time) which he relayed the word to Eusebio who still showed no personality, always looking down and never responding.

People were even going to stand next to him for photos and he still wouldn't look up for your pictures, always head down, never eye contact.

Pretty disappointing, but cool to see him in person and get his autograph (a photo taken from the 1966 world cup).

You see how his head is completely down in all 3 photos? No word of a lie, that's how he was during the ENTIRE autograph session. I can't even tell you what his eyes look like lol.

obviously it doesn't mean your a good person but it was still disappointing to see him act like this.

Wow what a let down, i was really suprised to read he would act like that. Maybe he was just having a bad day.
