as for relapse vs recovery, you must have missed eminem changing his mind on it and embracing it on his most recent album, even calling it a cult classic. because u keep pointing out that when he was in his "i'm mature now!" phase he denounced it in favor of pop records, but his stance has since changed.
as for critics.. allmusic, entertainment weekly, pitchfork, the guardian, and rolling stone all rated relapse better
so even with recovery being a commercial pop success, the critics still weren't claiming it a huge comeback like you're painting it out to be... that was only the pop crowd.

Yeah and when the album came out I noted this fact and thought this song and "Beautiful" and "Crack a Bottle" were better than the other tracks because they actually followed the storyline of Em's life and career. But those tracks were of course outliers

Homie, I think you overestimate me, I have zero real life friends I hang out with and zero social life outside of work. So when work and students started slowing down for the summer — I have nothing better to do than respond to every post on the dubcc. I happily replied to Dogg's post above.
