He was an Aftermath throw away that 50 made work with the G-unit wave. He just rode the train, he wasn't a true part of it.

Well, clearly he's admitting G-Unit caused him to sell, was the catalyst to his biggest selling LP.
Him leaving G-unit didn't affect them. 50 sold crazy with Massacre, after Gane, then dud 690k first week next CD.
50 decline was due to people getting tire of him, dissing etc.., not Game leaving or his disses.

That's for you to decide.  I'm not your ears.  What I am saying is that Game isn't the SOLE reason 50 Cent & G-Unit dwindled in popularity.  I'm not denying he had a MINOR role to play, I'm just saying there's larger issues at hand - product quality wasn't the same; regurgitated the same material (did not reinvent themselves); beef/bully perspective; label politics; etc.  Additionally, it is what happens to any large movement.  Where's Roc-a-fella today?  Where's the Wu?  I know they say it's forever but they're clearly not the same presence they had when they were in their prime.  Right now it's Young Money.  Give it a couple years and there will be another movement.

Only reason why Banks did good with the single was because of the southern beat (which 34523534 different rappers freestyled over) and the joint had Juelz on it.

What's your point?  What was One Blood?  That's not west coast music and that was on Doctor's Advocate, Game's second album.

The last album Banks pushed was Rotten Apple and, for them, it's numbers it pushed were a disappointment but it doesn't mean the product was bad.  It was a very traditional boom-bap record.  It had some dope hits, some boring tracks, and some average ones.   After that Banks went M.I.A due to family issues and then when he did come back it was on the PLK series which was always free mixtape material, none of them were ever intended to be singles until Beamer, Benz, or Bentley.

Other than 50, Game is the biggest G-Unit (well former) artist there is. Banks was well loved on the underground scene but no one liked his albums. Buck had the potential to be huge but 50 kinda held him back and now 50 is making dude rot on his roster. Yayo...lmao nuff said.

When Game put out "300 Bars" he took the fear out of 50. Game was the first and only artist that 50 had beef with (not including Kanye or Wayne since they never responded) that he couldn't ruin. Thats why Game is about to release his 4th album and is still having success as a solo artist while all the other G-Unit artist are struggling.

Yes, Game had a pro-active role in deteriorating G-Unit's image but he's credited with far too much.  He was pecking away at them and because of other situations which lead to G-Unit, as a movement, fell apart thus people give Game the credit cause he was an annoying bird that was there. 

Game isn't in any better situation than G-Unit is.  The biggest difference is Iovine kept him on the label and let Banks/Yayo go.  Yet, there back trying to recruit Banks whose single for his third album is pushing more units and radio play than any of Game's recent singles.

That's my opinion.  The majority of people who bought 50's music didn't care about the beef but the music.  We're talking about millions of people.  It wasn't the beef, it was the music that changed people's minds.

theres lot speculation bout who did who. game stood hard on his own against 5 or 6 members of g-unit. and had served em all. he delivered nice disstracks, 300 bars and more of his mixtapes. and g-unit took certainly damage of it.
