Ice Cube's "I Am The West" Pushes Back To September 24

According to Amazon.com, Ice Cube's first album in two years, I Am The West will no longer be a summer release. The N.W.A. alum's latest solo offering has appeared to have moved to September 24. The release is coming courtesy of Cube's own Lench Mob Records, also home to his Westside Connection partner, WC.

I Am The West, according to Cube, will contain production from Dr. Dre. The rapper said he had also sorted through tracks by fellow west coast veterans Sir Jinx, E-A-Ski and DJ Quik. A first single and video, "I Rep That West"  released in March, featuring new Suave House artist Jigg.

call me crazy but maybe this has something to do with the fact that dr. dre was supposed to be producing for the album now. dre = delay.

people keep mentioning Virginia but we run this tho... timbaland, missy, the neptunes, skillz, the clipse, trey songz, the lady of rage.  don't start shittin' on VA now, y'all love out music and RESPECT our people.   ;) and we still comin' out wit artists and even more hits.  snoop dogg had 2 use Virginia 2 stay on top, damn near everybody used Timbo or The Neptunez and Missy is in a league all of her own.  But as far as Ice Cube goes, who cares, just when it drops i hope he makes it useful.

Oh WHAT THE FUCK man  :grumpy: All he's said in his interviews for the two months was this was going to be a "California summer record." So much for anything good for the summer. Fucking bullshit. I thought majors only pull this kind of fuckery. He's been on every late night show and countless interviews promoting this thing. Is this the new thing now? Imaginary albums that never come out? Dr. Dre seems to have started a trend.

wow,didnt his first record leak in like beginning of 1349? He had like 8 centuriesof promotion and still pushing back?

even indie albums getting pushed back...Probably something to do with movie coming out or he wants to join the tour with Dre/Em/Game etc.

There is a reason for that
