i never said KRS never did his thing but when he did it was way back when niggaz was still on Hi-Top and Mid-Top fades heavy.  He wasn't joking with Wayne, Wayne was joking with him and KRS got on tha defensive quick like Asap.  There's no popularity contest with me either, that's never the type of shit i'm on, if I was I'd be yelling Fabolous as one of the GOATS of HipHop (not tryna knock the nigga tho).  I'm simplying putting out the FACT that KRS1 jumps on the "anti-new" generation bandwagon and he does it so shamelessly like it's nothing and then turns around and act like he's still Boss Dogg.  And to me, Ross and 50 did have one of the best battles, WHY, bcuz it was completely new and original (nonetheless all out Entertaining).  Most niggaz battle with the "i'll kill you" style lyrics (and that's cool who time but) it's nothing new, it's just the same "fuck you" story all over again.

that's bcuz RZA and Face ain't never been nominated 4 shit lol.  and if they were i'm sure they knew they wouldn't win.  the point i waz tryna make iz that KRS has in his mind that he's some type of ambassador for hiphop (and in his own right he is, i can't take away all of his credintials) but fact being he's not on that type of level he's tryna make himself out 2 be alotta tha timez.  he can speak on Rap music from the 80's and the really early 90's but that's it, other og's in the game have taken his place 4 that. 


like i've said b4, he's no Chuck D, he's no Run, he's no Dr. Dre, and he ain't Face or RZA or LL Cool J 4 that matter, he's KRS1 from back in tha 80's and that's it.  He had a good run while it lasted and that's where his legacy stops, son ain't never put on a big named act, he ain't never really been in anything major on TV, he ain't never really made no huge charity type of thing that's household, all he's done is given a little bit of intellect at Speech Forums and a couple Documentaries.  i respect him as a man and i'd shake his hand and give him his props if i ever met him but i'm not gonna kiss no ass, like Buddens say "i'm a student of tha game and not a teacher's pet".
