Paraguay vs Japan

Ooh, seems like a good game.  I think Japan will take it though.

Spain vs Portugal

Portugal was really impressive with their defense, and Spain's attack was kind of a let down in the group stages.  This might be the Game of the Round of 16s.  I think Portugal will take it, and we'll see how Portugal does when they actually face a team that attacks.

Paraguay & Portugal. Spain haven't looked good on attack and Portugal seem to have a pillar wall of defense. Their 7 yellow cards are cause for a concern but not for this game. I think Portugal will pull it off here

Portugals defence did alright but lets not forget they scored all their goals in one game. Not spread evenly. Brazil game was always likely to be a draw given the two countries ties and the first games are always cagey (ivory coast lacking an inform drogba).

Think Spain will take it.

I just think Portugal is tactically and strategically better than Spain and that will be the difference. The defense will hold up, and Pique/Ramos will get caught venturing forward too often.

Lol paraguay is easily better than japan! They got a good chance at beating portugal/spain in the quatre finals aswell.

Spain got a better team than portugal, winning with 7-0 from north corea doesn't mean they are better than spain.

Paraguay and Spain for me, though Portugal will run them close.

What are the odds that Ronaldo does something controversial makeing him the most hated man in spain ?

It's kinda hard for Ronaldo to do anything by himself and then without any legit fouls being called for though

Seriously, the only attack from Portugal was again coming from their LB....in a counter attack system.  Their midfielders didn't show up.
