This game could go both ways. I say if Germany gets an early goal, Spain will be lucky to not be embarrassed. If it stays tied for a long time or Spain scores first, it could get very very tight.

It's going to be curious to see what kind performance Spain has in this game. Spain has only faced two types of teams which have been extremely defensive: Switzerland, Portugal, Paraguay, and Honduras and extremely attack oriented in Chile.  Finally, they'll be facing a team that is a well balanced team. I think Spain will pull through, but wouldn't mind if Germany wins especially after how every pundit I would see wouldn't even give them a chance because Ballack wasn't going to play LOL

judging by both teams form, i would have to agree...as much as im rooting for spain to win, i think if germany continue to play as they have been to date, then i can see them winning the competition

its really tough to call, the germans seem unstoppable but Spain is not to be dismissed.  They just havent been as exciting as people thought they would be but i hope they pull it together and win this thing.  I'd hate for germany to win their 4th title.  I prefer a new champion for the sake of the game.

Torres has been bad in this World Cup... he probably won't even be starting. They are too scared to play with 2 strikers and Villa is obviously way above Torres currently.

Germany is the only former winner left and it was not an imperial slave trading power when Africa was first raided by Europe. So if anyone but Germany wins I'll have to admit defeat and take back my claim that the World Cup is the Whore of Babylon. If Spain wins the whole thing and the world doesn't end in the next 4 years I'll have been completely wrong all these years. I prefer to be right.
