 Well, while we are still on this subject, since it seems to keep coming up repeatedly, let me address something from the previous thread.  You accused me of trying to imply that because the young lady in question was a prostitute and had also been molested by her parents, that Dresta should have been given a pass for what happened between he and her.  For the record, that's not what I was trying to say at all.  I'm saying that Dresta made a big error in judgment for not trying harder to find out the young woman's age.  But he also served his time.  I was merely trying to point out that it seems tragically ironic that of all the young lady's past relationships where she was obviously being exploited by people, it seems as though the person who got in the most trouble was the one person who may have been actually trying to help her.  That's all.  I'm not excusing anything, but I'm also not trying to pass judgment when I'm sure there's a lot about all of this that we don't know.

 I'm saying it's ironic that everyone else who molested her and paid to have sex with her probably didn't get in any trouble.  I guess you think it's okay that those people got off scott free?  See, I can play that game too  I can flip what you said and twist your words as well.  Apparently, there is no one left who is willing to think rationally about this.  Dresta said himself that when he found out how old the girl was he tried calling her parents, before finding out that they were mistreating her as well.  That sounds to me like someone who was trying to do the right thing.  Here it is in his words if you don't believe me:

  And to that other sucka, I'm actually not from Europe, if you must know.  I live right here in the States.  And while I'm not going to respond to your other comment, I'll just say this:  I think what happened to that young woman is terrible and I wouldn't wish that on anyone.  But some of you on here don't seem to be forming your opinions on anything but raw emotion.  You're not considering the circumstances at all.  That's fine.  No one has the right to tell you how to think about something.  But that's not how I'm choosing to view it.  To me it's not as cut and dry as "Dresta is a paedophile" or isn't.  There were very obviously some fucked up circumstances involved that make it more complicated than that.
