Raul Signs Two Year Contract With Schalke

Schalke coach Felix Magath expects Raul to join them in days.

Magath is confident that Raul will join the club in the next few days after confirming that an agreement has been reached with the player.

The 33-year-old has no future at Real Madrid having been told he can leave on a free transfer this summer and Schalke have made him an offer which would make him the club's biggest earner.

Magath previously said he expected a decision by the end of the month and, speaking after Friday's friendly match with Erzgebirge Aue, he revealed that the player could be on his way to Gelsenkirchen soon.

"It looks very, very good that Raul will be presented in Gelsenkirchen as soon as next week," he said.

then went to Bayern and won two doubles in a row which no other Bundesliga team managed to achieve before.
Went on to Wolfsburg, won the title, then became coach in Schalke and finished season and cup second, only losing to Bayern.
