To be honest, I don't think the West has any rappers that can make it on a national level, at the moment.  The closest one I see being able to is maybe Problem but he rarely drops music.  The West is so stuck on gangbang music that they're afraid to venture out of the box.  And part of the blame lands on the fans.

i feel like nipsey could blow, internationally, i read in a interview that the actor ving rhames saying about how his teenage daughter put him onto nipseys music and thats how ving got nipsey to be in one of his upcoming movies wit gillie the kid from philly too, but the point i'm trying to make is it looks like that brother has a buzz, thats how it looks from over this side of the pond, plus he knows how to craft accessible radio tunes(along wit that hood gutta sick shit) which if they got the right machine push, radio, major label promotion, i'm sure he would go through the door and bus through, you get what i'm saying, nipsey's big, to me yeah, he just needs the right push, thats the way i see it
