Think I Found Where QDIII Got That Bassline for Ice Cube!

just goin thru songs and this caught my attention. i think the sample listed for cubes "you know how we do it" was evelyn king "the show is over" but if u listen to this song:



u hear the bassline it at 1:05, and this came out before evelyn king. not really that big a deal but i thought this was kinda dope 2!

I always thought that the bassline was an interpolation of Issac Hayes' song 'Hung Up On My Baby'?  It's funny but this is one of those songs with a crazy amount of samples; the aforementioned and the drums from Billie Jean, the synth from Summer Madness and the vocal sample from 'The Show is Over' are all used in this beat!  And it's a stone cold classic, probably my favourite Cube song.
