its real dope, pretty fucked up too, a drama bout this girl growin up in the ghetto n shit in a fucked up family worth seeing

ell, what can i say. from the get go, i didnt like it. it was too sappy, to pie-in-the-sky, completely ridiculous, and the sad parts overshadowed any kind of happiness or hope one could have gotten from watching the movie. and i dont get the fuss about mariah carey’s being in the movie, she looks like a weirdo creeper and is in it for like 2 minutes. however, in a very simple way, i will state all the things i did like:

-precious stealing the bucket of chicken is probably the best movie scene of 2009, however i think she should have jacked some hot sauce while she was at it. oh and this was for breakfast, what kind of fried chicken place is open in the morning?

-lenny fucking kravits as the male nurse, not a good acting job, but better than any music he has ever done

- mo’nique as the mother is absolutely incredible, the talent to portay the biggest, most horrible bitch and terrible human being.

-paula patton does a great job as the inspirational, beautiful and very lesbian g.e.d.(slash psychiatrist) teacher, blue rain (but what kind of fucking name is that?)

- i loved the sexilicious latina consuelo (from the class) 

… however, the scene of her getting bitch slapped is pretty amazing as well

-i loved the sexy bipster beauty jo ann, who has the best line in the movie; “my favorite color is florescent beige!”

- and who was this random young punk white kid that randomly appeared in the class, what the fuck was that?

yep, thats it, i honestly dont really recommend this movie, its pretty much a hollywood cliche, but done in a bit of an indie style (i hated that weird directing zoom thing that kept happening), and features a big black girl, so is considered different. no, it is not.
