this sounds amazing
omg! this is the shit! can you see the difference? i mean...even though sound quality is bad on this vid you can clearly hear that these songs are dope as fuck. there's no need for excuses like: "this is unmastered/unfinished version that's why this song is whack. wait untill the finished one drops". music is music. good song is a good song even if it's unmastered or played on a 50 years old player.can't wait for the book of david
are there any tentative release dates for this yet?

I was surprised when that Dre and Jay- Z track came out and a lot of people where saying it wasn't done and unmastered and that's why it wasn't that good. No matter what it will still be a completed and mastered song that just isnt that good, there tons of these songs out there, there always will be, the only difference is that this song had Dre's name on it feat. Jay-Z so people try to like it and make excuses that they usually wouldn't make for someone else. Anyway back to Quik. This dude man, I've always known it but he keeps proving it over and over again...He is the most consistent rapper/producer, he's just an amazing musician period. I could listen to any one of his albums unmastered and incomplete on a radioshack alarm clock radio with blown-ass 1-1/2" speakers and I would still be able to recognise the quality in his music, no if's, and's or but's. I'm not saying quick is perfect, but about 95% of his catalog is classic or damn near. After listening to the preview of some of the tracks that are going to be on the album I can't wait to bang this shit the first day it drops and I already know were in for some classic DJ Quik. I just hope that at the end Quik doesn't decide to add a few songs to the album to please people who might like a different style, like what he tried to do with The Fixxers or the second half of Blaqout; I just want 100% classic DJ Quik.
