Donna Simpson is the world's fattest mum, weighing in at 272kg. But that's not enough for her - she wants to weigh half a tonne.

Simpson earns money from websites that fat admirers pay money to view. In fact, her belly is money and she earns between $3,000-4500 a month from thousands of fans on websites like Supersized Bombshells.

ONE News US correspondent Tim Wilson caught up with Simpson at a deli, to talk about life as an object of desire to those who can't get enough of the super-fat.

"I'm very comfortable with who I am. I love to wear bikinis, and be out in public," she says.

She has a boyfriend and a three-year-old daughter, but dancing half naked by near strangers is no problem. Superfat is sexy, but superduperfat is sexier, she says.

"The cellulite bumps and the belly coming down. They just love it when the belly goes past your knees. They just freak out."

At the local deli, Simpson meets a fan. George has seen her on TV. He says he likes thick girls, not fat girls.

"I don't know how I can put it ... 200 pounds and curvy."

A mass weight gain shake is sent to her by a fan. Simpson turns it down. She plans to gain weight in a "healthy" way, she says.

"I don't want to gain my weight like that, it's very unhealthy."

But lunch is enormous.

"I'll have two tuna melts, an order of fries, and eighteen inch sub, make it roast beef, turkey cheese with everything except for salt."

Simpson insists how much you eat doesn't matter but what you eat does.

"You see vegetables here, lots of vegetables. There's some meat under here, but it's mostly vegetables."

Her dream weight is 1000 pounds (453 kg) - almost half a tonne.

"We'll see how it goes. You know, I'm walking around here in my bathing suit, working off lunch. With all the media attention, I don't know I'm gonna get to that weight."

She says getting to that weight would make her the Beyonce of the super-fat world.

"I would be like, one of the most sexiest models, and you'd be blown away by it, and wouldn't be able to stop staring at me, and saying, 'can I touch your belly'?"

She says just like a supermodel wants to be thinner because she looks sexier thinner, she thinks she will look sexier bigger.
