WRONG.  Most cube fans are my age - 30.  You're a young kid.  Not many people your age are really cube fans.  Most cube fans don't listen to any new rap at all.  Yeah, you got the few of you kids who were not even alive when NWA was around, but for the most part, cube fans are older and don't listen to new rap music.  I probably don't know a single person in real life who knows who jay rock is.

That's basically what I just said. They wouldn't know anything about this dude except that it was someone who dissed Cube. Not many people are following the new west. And just like you probably feel towards Benzino, they would just say fuck this nobody and move on. The only difference is that Benzino actually had some albums out and made some noise. Cube really gains nothing from going after him. That said, I WOULD like to see some kind of beef involving Ice Cube. I have a feeling he would make a track with that angry ass flow in all his other disses, something I think his music has been missing.

If cube flat out says his name, yes they are gonna know he is dissing jay rock.  My point is that cube fans don't listen to jay rock, if they even know who he is at all.  Cube was going multi-platinum in the 90's with his albums...selling millions of copies.  He now maybe sells 100K or maybe 200K.  His fan base simply doesn't listen to new rap music.  It ain't like cube going against b-real back in the day.  Back then the fans listened to both cube and cypress hill, and the diss songs were hot and the fans knew what they were about...and the disses were clever.  Now, nobody knows anything about jay rock.  What the fuck kind of diss song can cube do against him?  He can't reference any album, or anything like that...it may as well be cube dissing me, as none of cube's fans know who I am.

there is nothing to make a diss song about jay rock, plain and simple.  He has no background known to anyone other than a few internet fans.
