Definitely pullin for Toney. Obviously if Toney catches him with a clean shot he will drop Randy. But its gonna be hard for James to win this shit by MMA rules. They should have two fights...one with MMA rules...one with boxing rules.

The more I think about this shit, the less I give Toney any chance in this fight. To be honest, he is probably one of the worst type of boxers to try and crossover.

For almost any boxer, their major opportunity to win the fight will be by KO. Using their hand speed and punching power. The best type of boxer would be somebody who has very quick hands and can catch you with a big shot at anytime. Think abot the type of fighter Toney is. Especially in the later years of his career. He's been a very defensive fighter who likes to counter punch. He typically uses the ropes alot, leaning back on them to save energy and make it difficult for opponents get a clean shot on him. That wont work in MMA. He cant fight with his back to the cage against Couture. He'll be on the ground. For a boxer it would be key to keep the fight in the middle of the octogon. That hasnt been his style.

I still hope he KO's Randy tho.

The positive for him is he's not fighting a guy with speed like St. Pierre or Silva, but Randy is a far greater athlete then him, if he sticks around MMA if he loses then Toney Vs. Big Country would be a great fight

I believe he's signed to a one fight deal, so if he loses this fight in an embarrassing fashion its safe to say he is done with UFC lol.

From what i've heard it's a 3 fight deal. I know for sure it's a multi-fight contract.

Only way for Randy to win is to TRY to take Toney down and ground and pound for a stoppage/knockout, submission or by decision

if they go toe to toe Toney has the best defense comparable to Floyd's cus he knows how to stand and throw punches

look at Lesnars last fight for instance he proved he had heart and took a beating the first round but came back and submitted the nigga,
