4/5 on there are films that have changed the way movies are made and received.

I get it, you'd rather imagine him listing his own movies, the obligatory scarface, and maybe some other cliched rapper movie.

No, I tought some drama, or real film, like: The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, Rain Man, The Dirty Dozen, or if he likes Spielberg, there is the Schindler's List.

But on the top of the list a horror?!?!

Not a bad list. Trading Places is a great 80s movie. People were expecting:

5. Fast & Furious
4. Friday
3. Scarface
2. American Gangster
1. Boyz N The Hood

I'm sick of people putting Scarface in their top 5.  Half of this board would put it in their top 10 at least. It isn't even no where near my top 20. Besides the motel room chainsaw scene, and the ending, the movie isn't that impressive. I suppose it's one of those "I'll say it's one of my all time fav movies to look cool" kind of choice among those who aren't comfortable with their s*xuality. They're all too scared to list emotional drama's and romance movies, but they watch them, trust me!!

Jaws is a fucking great movie...it revolutionized horror movies.  You kids are just too young.  By the time most of  you were born they were probably on Jaws 5.

The list is kind of cliche but there's nothing wrong with it.  Having Jaws at number 1 is a bit unusual but all of the films have revolutionized film making and have been well received.
