I've never necessarily thought it was Game's strong ear for beats but just him having such a solid team in his corner.

 He explains in the interview that Game told him it had his sister's blessing when he played it. Whether you believe that or not, is up to the individual. The head bopping doesn't look like he's on some "Oh boy! I'm really feeling this shit" but more a first-time listener trying to vibe with the track.
