Working his way from the streets of Fillmore to Hollywood has been no small feat for Ya Boy. Through years of hard work on the mixtape circuit and an unexpected smash hit with "We Run LA" he recently caught the attention of artist/music mogul Akon. YB has had several offers from majors but turned them down, choosing to forge his own path independently. When Akon made him an offer he couldn't refused he signed with the Konvict Imprint. We got to speak with him and discuss the recent signing and his future plans.
