Just look at the matchups..... I dont see how they even have a legit chance, LA matches up so well against them.

my opinion too but I don't know, gotta see how they play, I wouldn't be surprised if they did beat them though but I don't think so, at least this year. also people calling them the best team ever before they even played got to chill, I mean that's probably the first time two top 3 in the league players are together on the same team, and another one who is top 10/15, the rest of the roster is not bad at all but the best ever? gotta see how they jell together now.

lebron, d-wade, bosh, haslam the weedman, eddie house, mike miller

IMO they got everything if Bosh can stay healthy for the playoffs ....watch Lebron become the games best pointguard

the only matchup where the lakers have a slight advantage is the C position but last year Jamaal Magloire who is a big body and a 7 footer/banger did a great job vs bynum. Then you have newly signed big Z who is 7"3. Mark these words this heat team under pat riley is going to be a defensive monster. last year they were a top 5 defensive team with D wade and a bunch of pine riders.

Put it like this the Cavs with a worse roster compared to this years Heat team beat the lakers last year in 2 out of 2 meetings. so i think the heat stand a pretty strong chance to beat the lakers.. like kobe said miami formed voltron :) dont overlook the hideous beast in so florida.

Miami has to worry about the Celtics first while the Lakers who has been dominated the West for 2 years and a half have a cakewalk barring a major injury ... I mean Boozer and Stoud went East and the Melo situation make it easier ..

and once again arguing which team is going to beat the other based on the individual matchup is just  inacurrate

LOL, I'm looking at the match-ups & I'm wondering what you're planning on doing lol. You have a hard time keeping Wade under 30, you have an even harder time keeping LeBron under 30; so what are you going to do when they are both on the court at the same time?

You could barely handle Kendrick Perkins & a washed up KG with MIGHTY Rasheed Wallace off the bench; if Perkins played in Game 7, there is a good chance you wouldn't have ridiculously out-rebounded them & it wouldn't only have been closer, you might have lost.

Not going to lie, I don't know if you Laker fans are just trying to reassure yourself that everything is going to be peaches & cream next season, but you guys are unbelievably underrating the fact you have to guard LeBron & Wade at the same time & then sure Chris Bosh isn't Pau, but he's an all-star who can put 30 up himself on any given night.

Look, I'm not saying it's a complete wrap that the Heat will shit on you, but to say the Heat have "NO CHANCE" is quite absurd.

you're right Bosh isnt Pau he is even more athletic and explosive than Pau. Bosh has put up better seasons as the focal point of the team than Pau did with the Memphis Grizzlies.
The thing with Bosh is, hes never played with a caliber of player of Kobe Bryant to really make life alot easier for him. But now that hes on the court with both Lebron and D wade watch out! its going to open up his game to the point of opening up talk about him being the best PF in the league. plus hes hitting the weight room like a machine and under Pat riley is going to be playing defense, because that organization believes that Defense Wins Championships. Even trace pat riley's D to the pressure defense of the show time 80s lakers to alonzo mournings era with the heat, to the 2006 championship team to last seasons team that made the top 10.

Bosh and Gasol cancel each other out.. The heat bench has sharp shooters has a 6'8 versatile Mike Miller, Eddie House, defensive stud that did a great job on dirk nowitzki Udonis Haslem (the heart of the team), Big Z, Jamaal Magloire and Juwan Howard who had a solid season last year with the Portland trailblazers who provides veteran leadership. These guys are going to benefit from either 1 out of 3 all stars that demand double teams at the same time. I mean you see what its doing for the machine sasha vajuchic lol with kobe and gasol. i cant say the heat bench is better than the lakers at this point but its alot better than what alot of ppl are giving them credit for. Riles assembled some weapons :)
