Great game by Spurs, they will win the tittle in 7 games 8)

Tim Duncan is 1 win away from his 5th ring

besides KG and Shaq, dude is the best player post-Jordan

Kobe is the best player in post-Jordan era, with Tim being the second one but he wins that 5th ring, which I think he will, it's going to be an interesting discussion 8)

I'd disagree with that, and I'm a Shaq man. The last year of the three-peat, Kobe was over shadowing Shaq, but against the Nets the match up was too good to just waste Shaq, and Shaq was as dominate as ever. Not saying Kerry Kittles and Keith Van Horn were great defenders, but when Shaq is guarded by Todd MacCulloch, then you just have to take advantage and that's what Phil did. But throughout the season, and in the playoffs, Kobe was getting more minutes, he led the team in assist and he was driving the triangle offense. But the Finals, you just had a great match up in which you had to throw it down to Shaq and let Shaq be Shaq. Even though throughout the season, Shaq was an out of shape bum. In the next two years, Kobe have easily over shadowed Shaq, which is what led to the disaster of 2004. Kobe was the leading scorer those two seasons, which caused Shaq to whine. Kobe got 30ppg in 2002-2003, to Shaq's 27ppg, and then 24ppg to Shaq's 21ppg with that Super Laker team that lost to the Pistons. If Shaq had accepted his role as big man and let Kobe be the man well he takes the role player position, then you would have saw more NBA titles for the Lakers and Kobe win at least 1-2 more NBA Finals MVPs.

last Lakers title by Shaq and Kobe:

regular season

Shaq:  27.2 PPG, 10.7 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 BPG

Kobe:  25.2 PPG, 5.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and a .250 3-point percentage

post sesaon:

Shaq:  28.5 ppg, 12.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.5 blocks per game

Kobe: 26.6 ppg 5.8 rebounds, 4.6 assists and a .379 3-point percentage

tell me again how Kobe was better??

As I said, more minutes, led the team in assist. He was the main play maker. That was the last year of dominate Shaq, and he was out of shape most of the year.

anyone who values NBA Finals dominance will take Shaq over Kobe.  Easily son.

and you just hate on KG cuz he's a Celtic and his team kept your boy toy Kobe from winning a 6th ring :D

show me credible sources who takes shaq over kobe on an all-time list...cuz i can show u a bunch who have kobe way ahead.

shaq was dominant when kobe was 21 lol...we're talkin bout prime for prime here. when kobe started hitting his prime, shaq became like a jealous underperforming husband without his viagra. a joke that u'd even place them in the same echelon.

Kobe failed to even score 10 points in finals games against the weakling Pacers son.  Shaq carried those teams and we both know it.  Shaq won 3 finals MVP's and just as many MVP awards as your boyfriend Kobe.  and Shaq also lead his team to beat MJ the playoffs in the 1990s...NOBODy else can say that.  not Malone, Stockton, Barkley ,Kemp, Payton, Magic, Drexler, Ewing etc.

btw Lebron at that age was waging wars against Tim Duncan in his prime with the Spurs
