itz blasphemy to compare a freemason to Pac. The establishment selects false prophets like jay to cause confusion among the sheep and it looks like its working. Jay was a young hustler, he worked hard although I personally don't think he was anything special on the mic. The establishment acknolwledged this and brought Jay into their circle heavily investing in him. Jay was in the position of power. He has millions of kids listening to him and as long as he didn't say anything political or nething that would jeopardize a certain agenda, he would be welcomed with open arms amongst the elite.





Pac on the other hand had the power too. But used it to speak on some real shit and questioned the government/establishment as a maintstream rapper. Maybe the very reason he got capped. I don't think there ever has been or ever will be a rapper quite like pac. He might not have the best flow or lyrics but the nigga was an enigma. He was an enigma of raw emotion and charisma. Thats why every other nigga in rap tries to be like him.

You're comparing apples with oranges here. Jay-Z is a rapper/entertainer. 2pac was above and beyond a rapper; rapping was simply a vehicle for a much bigger cause. He stood for so much more; he was fighting for us. Sales are one thing, but purpose and humanity are something else entirely. These guys today have no purpose or direction. These aimless raps serve to do nothing but promote more sales, exploit a culture, and deter kids from rational thinking. There is a colossal reason why 2pac isn't with us anymore; anyone with an IQ over 100 can clearly see why. Those of us who know who 2pac really was will continue to talk about him and remember. Those of us who don't (including rappers) will continue to compare, and unsuccessfully try to live up to what they thought he was. 2pac was a pure soul. These guys today are pre-programmed machines; they don't have hearts or eyes. They don't care about anyone but themselves and the corporations that are waiting for their money. Hell, they don't even know who they are; they're empty with only the hallow shell of an ego to front with. This isn't some huge enigma; which makes things even more disturbing when you see that the majority of people still can't figure it out. Most people aren't interested in answers because it nullifies their whole reason for existing. If theres nothing to argue about anymore, they have nothing to do and loose whatever false sense of identity they had. They want to keep fighting, arguing, disagreeing... it's the only thing that keeps them going. Although they may never admit that, deep down something is stirring. Call it what you want; some call it balance. I call it inertia.
