Street Gospel + Rhythm-al-ism
« on: September 19, 2010, 01:28:39 AM »
How good are these albums particularly the production...
It's been around 15 years since these albums came out, and there is no one that can duplicate Quik's style and nobody has even attempted to copy it.

Yeah, I was listening to Rhythm-al-ism yesterday for the first time in a while, and it's just amazing. Although I listened to Street Gospel recently again too, and it just didn't hit me as much as it did once.

very dope album, but i still feel safe & sound is his best produced album. I would put rhym-al-ism on par with balance & options which is a another very dope album.

D.J. Quik can't even duplicate it anymore. Too bad that production team fell apart just like Ant Bank's old team.
