I'm thrilled to see the producers finally getting some well deserved props for making Rick Ross what he is. Without the beats, Rick Ross is absolutely nothing.

He's not that bad really. He's nothing special, I agree, but he obviously knows how to make good music. You don't have to be talented to make good music.

Go listen to Maybach Music part III. Sounds like Dream Theater just did a hip hop song. Pretty epic, and musically impressive. You can say you don't like it, idc, but they are something special. The way the beat switches at the end is just perfect. Very original, because if you heard the beat for the first time you would know it is from JUSTICE League.

I really think that that Hi-Tek (particularly Hi-Teknology 2) and all that stuff Little Brother was doing with "Minstrel Show", I really felt was just great music because it really felt like the kind of music that is basically absent from hip-hop on the mainstream level. I can't get into Kanye as a rapper but his production is something else. Just Blaze was definetly one of my favorite producers for awhile but I've been kind of out of touch with what he's doing, these days.

Hi-Tek was on fire back during the sessions that produced Hi-Teknology 2 but he fell off.   I used to think Focus was the future but he didn't grow.

I like the simplicity of Drake's producer 40.  It's not complex but what he does is nice.

i get what you mean but im laughing a bit here because despite how amazingly talented they are, dream theatre cant right a song that isnt bloated, pretentious bullshit.

Ron Contour & Factor - Saffron
Factor - 13 Stories
Factor - Lawson Graham
D. Dove - Screwg McDovey
Common Grackle - The Great Depression

All of these 2010 albums were produced by Factor and have outstanding production. That's Quality AND quantity. If only he were more high-profile and produced for some bigger artists...

shoot me some links. never heard of any of this shit.
