...Sonically. If you listen to some old school Mobb Deep, or Jay-Z's Reasonable Doubt etc..etc... and compare it to the best stuff of JUSTICE league, you clearly see an evolution. It dosen't mean that one is better, because obviously you can't make Maybach Music pt III in 1995. But the live drums and instruments with the musicality while keeping it simple is pretty amazing.

So who do you think is the evolution of hip hop in 2010?

Yeah, based on his work for Em, I would say Blaze isn't a good example of the right direction but that's cause I don't like the style.

Dj Khalil, Black Milk, Nottz, Kanye West, Justice League, King Karnov, Dready, Jake One, Slug are all good examples of dope modern sounds in hip-hop.

Hip hop hasn't changed much in terms of sound the last five years. I agree that J.U.S.T.I.C.E league (minus the clichè dirty south inspired beats they make), Dj Khalil and a few others are pawing the way in 2010.

Alot of other genres have producers who's doing ALOT of interesting things nowadays. Check out this dude here for example, the stuff he does with sound is pretty amazing and extremely innovative:
