I know it's pre-season, but dude looks like a man possessed out there. It's been a long time since we've seen a rookie dominate the way he has, although I suppose it's worth noting that he has had a one year advantage over the other rookies to watch and observe the game and get acclimated to his team.

John Wall has shown flashes of superstardom as well, but Griffin is gonna blow him and everybody else out of the water in this Rookie of the Year race. Barring injury, of course.

EDIT on January 17th, 2011 (MLK Day): And just like that, Griffin gets the season high in points amongst ALL NBA players. 47 points accompanied by 14 rebounds. This man is a rookie, folks.

Blake, like the rest of the NBA, was stuck behind Miami & John Wall hype.

He's going to be sick. 8)

yup griffin is sick!  he's so unlucky what happened to him in his rookie year but for sure he woulda had rookie of the year if he played.  i saw him in summer league and preseason last year and he was killing it.  He's something else, probably will be better than lebron too.

In the game opener he finished with 20 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists. Hope he can continue to play at this pace.

Here's the first basket of his career. lol, what a way to start things off

Fortunately he got lucky not to get hurt on his 1st basket ... his explosiveness is kind of similar of Amare one before he seriously get injured ...

Lol, I remember a yahoo article saying Blake Griffin is Amare + ball-handling + defense + rebounding + hustle + unselfish attitude + a will to win.

That said, he really does play recklessly. I honestly don't think he learned his lesson from his last injury. And for that, you almost gotta respect him even more for that. Lets hope hes able to stay healthy this time.

he's dope, but he's gonna be injured in no time
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

I'll be honest, I saw him dominate the college game & I thought he was going to be wack in the NBA, but if he keeps this up, I'll feel like a dick lol.
