Trauma-san:
Awesome movie, just saw it.  The American Film Institute voted it one of the best of 2002, and I definately agree...

1st, Martin Scorsese directed it.  Has to be dope.

2nd, it deals with Irish street gangs in new york, in the 1800's, mature topic that I didn't know much about but do now.

3rd, the acting was phenomenal.  Cameron Diaz held her own in a serious role, and I think she was the perfect choice for that role, she pulled it off perfect.  Leonardo DiCaprio can never have his acting ability questioned again... one more time, he carried a HUGE role, and did it with ease.  YOu got the sense the whole time that he was breezing through the movie.  Daniel Day Lewis deserves an oscar as the Butcher, I think.  Just the emotion, from one end, to the other he brought into it, and the character he created was awesome.

great movie, everybody should go see it.

Yer I saw trailers and shit of this a while back the film looks so good, but  I aint heard shit about it since, I was like urgh they must of scrapped it or sum shit becajuse I saw the trailer soooooo long ago. When does this come out in UK mate, do ya know? Cos I will defo peep it.  Looks real good!
