I posted that the album would come out on Sub Noize Records awhile ago, now Saigon has officially announced the deal and has noted a release date of Feb. 2011.

Remember this whole album is already mixed and mastered.  We will not be getting the indie label treatment in terms of sound quality.

BTW this song is off his new mixtape EP which should be dropping soon or has dropped already.

this is pretty dope...be good to hear some decent Saigon tracks, i wasnt too impressed by Warning Shots 2.

so is this likely to actually drop on Suburban Noize Records, dunno much about them apart from Wikipedia etc seems like a random ass place for Saigon to end up

Yes, it should be exactly that tracklist, even with all the tracks we've already heard.

Sub Noize is a label ran by Kotton Mouth Kings, and they are legit with distribution.   An odd choice for an artist like Saigon, but a totally adequate one.

Warning shots 2 made me lose all my faith in Saigon. I purchased it without listening off the strength of his other street albums. It was truely horrible

Well remember, those are just mixtape, street albums.

If you've heard some of the snippets/songs that have come off this actual album, there is no reason to not be hyped for it, despite Saigon disappointing in other projects.

Saigon sits down with Ms. Drama to talk about his upcoming album, Greatest Story Never Told. He talks about his new label situation with Surburban Noize via Sony Red and being on a label that “understands him”. On the note of his album, Saigon explains that his album will be an “updated 2k11 version” that indeed has new material. Saigon also discusses the climate of hip-hop and coming out now when lyrics aren’t necessarily a priority anymore.

Uh oh.  That  may have me worried....

I'm interested to see if he means just updating the beats, adding a new verse here and there, or completely scrapping songs for new joints..    Would rather the first one, wanna hear this shit how it was originally put together.

I guess that means we might not see Believe It, Pain in My Life or Cmon Baby..
