Word, all Dre tracks have a certain finish to them that a lot of these other tracks don't have.
Even if it's a so-so Dre beat the drums and everything are crazily compressed and punchy and all the elements are defined and not just straight from the drum machine or keyboard.

These are produced by guys who hung around Dr. Dre. Reference tracks indeed. Rain was in California for a month with Dre doing reference tracks like in 08 or 09.
