"Terrace Martin - Here, My Dear" appreciation thread

Today I wrote a review on Terrace Martin's latest record "Here, My Dear". While writing I was bumping it again and I felt like this deserves an appreciation thread on here. I really love the whole concept and how Terrace put this together with sung hooks on every track, a lotta saxophone etc. It's just a necessary proof that hip-hop can be more than just generic beats with 16 bars, hook, 16 bars and hook again. the live instrumentation is really carrying this album.

I'm with you man..........I lovvvvvvved this album.  Had a nice concept, the saxophone all throughtout was just gave it this really great feeling.  I loved the subject matter too, this is a grown folk album, so i except the younger crowd to not really be feeling it.  I know if i was 18 it would be over my head probably...............4.5/5 for me

Yep, but this album stil gets not enough attention. Not even on here. That's a little bid sad because when rappers drop wack albums, ppl are steadily hatin and complainin right away, but when there's dope music out, it's hard to get a discussion goin. Sure, it's easier to drop negative statements...
