West LA native Kokoe is a true survivor. He has seen his ups and down but still manages to push forward for his family and his people. Recently involved in a near fatal shooting in his neighborhood in West LA that had him sustain several bullet wounds, he beat the odds and is back in the booth again pursuing his dream. He has big things in the works, including collaborations with Three 6 Mafia and a feature on the remix to "Buzzin'" by fellow buzzing West LA artist Mann. We sat down and discussed his changing perspective on life after his near death experience and his drive to succeed.
