I thought that his delivery on I Need A Doctor was really awkward and forced sounding. Kush is classic Dre though, strong vocal presence and authority in his voice as per usual.

His verse on Kush is way better than Snoop's verse imo...

His voice is clearly a plus for him.

I agree with the people sayin his delivery sounds forced.  It sounds like he's just readin off a sheet as quick as he can on his verse compared to "Let Me Ride" "Keep Their Heads Ringin" "Game Over" and "The Watcher" he sounds like he has a more natural delivery on those tracks.  His Death Row tracks he sounds more comfortable behind the mic, especially "Dre Day" and "Natural Born Killaz."

I'd rather have Dre rap more intimidating and rap about beating down people and shooting versus this weak stuff he's giving us with the new raps.  I hope the second single is a diss track like "Dre Day."  He needs to rap more aggressively like he does on Chronic.  I'll take the "Death Row Dre" over "Dictionary Dre" anyday.

I agree with the others also who say they like D.O.C. writing his music instead of Eminem and Jay-Z.  Dre is not a "mechanical-anical-animalistic" rapper he's a "Keep their motha fuckin heads ringin" artist.

Except the DOC didn't write any of those songs you mentioned. As a matter of fact Eminem wrote The Watcher.
