Me Against The World was Pac's best album...

It's so far ahead of Pac's work with Death Row it ain't even funny...After Pac went to the Row he started to make mostly  generic west coast gangsta music...And Snoop and DPG were alot better at making that type of music than Pac...Me Against The World was Pac's shining moment in hiphop...The album is almost flawless...

Yep I agree 100%, although the Makaveli album is pretty close to it. This is the real Pac at his best, there ain't one track on this album that I ain't feeling. I enjoyed Pac hooking up with DPG and co on Death Row, and he did make some classic tracks whilst on DR, but it wasn't really Pac, and in trying to hold down that image over a double disc album (All Eyez On Me), Pac failed to maintain consistancy throughout the album.

Lyrically I agree with you, but the music on All Eyez On Me was better I think. But I don't really wanna choose because 2Pac is 2Pac and although I am not ghetto al all his lyrics touch me and they make me think.

Agreed 100%. All Eyez On Me was a great album in its own right, but within Death Row's legacy it wasn't all that - Chronic, Doggystyle and Dogg Food were all more polished albums. But as for MATW... shit, one of the top hip hop albums made. True, Makaveli is very close to it, but MATW is one of those CDs that is so polished you could play it to someone with no experience of or interest in rap music and they would appreciate it.

huh? me against the world doesnt have half the bangers all eyez on me has

maybe lyrics are good but i listen to music not because of lyrics, i listen to music because of the songs that make you want to bounce etc

if i cared about lyrics, 2pac isnt the best person to listen, might as well listen to canibus or some crazy freestylers

as far as bangers, all eyez on me > *

I agree with most of that. AEOM is better than The Chronic or Doggystyle, though all three albums are pretty close. Dogg Food is sooooooooooooo overrated, and is nowhere near AEOM. The only thing The Chronic and Doggystyle have on AEOM is production, and not by much. AEOM has them beat lyrically and conceptually, not to mention its a far more diverse album than either Dre or Snoop's classics.

Im not sure if AEOM is better than MATW though. I think they're about equal. But like I said in my last post, Makaveli is better than BOTH of them.

Sorry bruh, but you have to listen to the lyrics, but it takes a good beat and good lyrics, to make a tight song, if you just want the beat, go listen to bass cds or instrumentals or some ish like that.

MATW was a great album and was definitiely his most emotional (he dealt with so many emotions on that album)
AEOM was more of a party westcoast gangsta album but it still stands as my favorite, I will never get tired of listening to it
