thank god the NFL doesn't have the BCS (but if it did peep this)
OG Hack Wilson:
these stats all come from www.pro-football-reference.com it's the "SRS" system which is right on the front page (includes shit like strength of schedule etc)
these are your top 12 teams of the 32 in the NFL through week 14
the difference in a team's score can be considered a point spread on a neutral field
1-Patriots 12.8
2-Packers 9.4
3-Steelers 8.8
4-Falcons 6.0
5-Chargers 5.9
5-Eagles 5.9
7-Ravens 5.6
8-Giants 4.6
9-Jets 4.4
10-Colts 2.9
11-Saints 2.8
12-Titans 2.7
jesus these stat nerds can't get anything right. Packers the 2nd best team on a neutral field?
Shallow:
With a healthy Rodgers on a neutral field I don't see why not. They almost beat Atlanta on the road. And the Pats were a bad throw INT from Manning, or a bad throw dropped INT from Brady away from losing at home against the Colts. Yeah they beat up on the Jets who don't look so tough and the very hit or miss Bears last week, and it makes them look Godly right now. I can;t imagine the back up of the Pack running that team right now in NE so they'll win this week, but I'm calling it right now; if Buffalo doesn't win in two weeks they'll make it close. They they should finish out by beating Miami no matter who starts that game, but I don't expect them to just walk into the Superbowl.
M Dogg™:
Chargers wouldn't be in the top 10 because to screw the Raiders, the AFC West would not be BCS qualifiers, so unless the Chargers are undefeated they wouldn't make a BCS, let alone the title game.
Chamillitary Click:
It could very well be a Pats/Packers Superbowl, but playoff style is one billion times better than the BCS way of doing it.
One day College Football will make it playoff format & then it will be the greatest thing ever.
