Nice list. I would've taken off a few and added Donnis, Freddie Gibbs or Kendrick Lamar though.

Yo, I really want Hayes to pop off and release an album.  Kid is dope with the pen.  One of the few to drop street shit with cause and affect.  Rhymes cover consequences of actions.  Few do it.

J. Cole & Jay Elec should be solid if they secure release dates.

Cole
Fashawn
Hopsin
Jay Electronica
Mac Miller

That's the best five rooks.

I haven't heard much Kendrick Lamar, but he may be able to get in that list.

not feeling anybody on the list.   I say let the last generation of great artists live on, I don't care if they are in their 30's, 40's, or 50's; until the younger generation can do it better there is no reason to pass the torch.  The best album to come out all last year was the Damian Marley and Nas album, and of course both those artists have been around for quite some time.

I disagree. A good album but it wasn't in my top 10 of the year.

Doesn't even deserve a mention when discussing the best of last year.
