OK first of all, MANY MC's are better than Pac.  Nas, Rakim, AZ, Jeru the Damaja, Raekwon, GZA, Ghostface Killah, etc. are all better than Pac as an MC.  Second of all, MC wasn't influenced by Pac, sorry.  That belongs to Rakim and somewhat LL Cool J.

here's a better perspective for you, rakim is the greatest mc that has ever picked up the mic, the nigga is still ahead of his time, nas & a few others are better lyricist than pac somewhat but they all wanted what pac had, which is the love pac has from the world...at the same time a lot of people hated pac for being so honest cause in reality normal people can't handle someone so real & so intense in real life... ;)

You really can't compare these 2 albums - Doggystyle is some bomb g-funk shit and something you can really laid back to while Stricly 4 My Niggaz is a real raw album with a underground type of sound. When it comes to beats, production and the whole impact - Doggystyle is waaay ahead of S4MN. It sold more copies, the records itself had a bigger budget I guess, the guests, the skits - everything on this cd is perfect.

Stricly 4 My Niggaz on the other hand has a more underground feel. It has that 'dirty' NY sound all over it (minus some exceptions like Keep Ya Head Up, I Get Around etc) and the concept of most tracks is totally different. While Doggystyle is on some "dope lyrical gangsta shit" - S4MN has a more of a political feel. Pac is talking about his problems with the law, black people stuggle etc. topics Snoop rarely mentioned on his records.


I'll still say Doggystyle because the album was just a masterpiece but like I told the first time - you can't really compare these 2 albums cause they are so much different from theirselves in various aspects it's an unfair comparision..
