With the new year now upon us, XXLMag.com thought it was the perfect time to ask the fans “Which album are you most anticipating in 2011?”

With Dr. Dre’s Detox, Wayne’s Tha Carter IV and Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch the Throne all set to drop within the next twelve months, it was Game’s oft-delayed The R.E.D. Album which fans voted as the most anticipated album of the year.

Receiving exact 50% of the vote (2,005 votes in total) Game’s album also beat out Lupe Fiasco’s Lasers, Young Jeezy’s TM 103 and Drake’s Take Care.

why is everyone so negative when it comes to Game. I dont get it, how hard is to feel happy that a west coast artist is doing well. You know why the west coast is always losing? Cause all of its fans stay hating. Well, not all.....But most of em do. I just dont get it. Support albums and artists and they will do well. Hate on em and then complain about why they dont sell is just a contradiction. Say what you want about Game, everytime his name gets mentioned on this forum all you guys have something to say....He hasnt fell off if all of you are still talking about him.

Well Game isn't doing that well. All he did was win a small, insignificant poll that like somebody said, was probably fixed by Game fans. My man hasn't dropped a good song since LAX & that album was average enough; the recent mixtapes were even worse.

& I'm sorry, I just refuse to believe that Game is more anticipated than Lil' Wayne, Dre & Kanye/Jay-Z.

& Dre is West Coast. I support him. But I'm not going to support something for fuck of it to "keep the West alive"; it has to be worthy.
