Derrick Mason 2 for 21 No TD (not too impressive beginning of year, neither was Darrelle)

Calvin Johnson 1 for 17 No TD (9/101 3TD week before, 10/128 1TD following week) 8

Andre Johnson 4 for 41 No TD (9/146 1TD before, 24/345 3TD following 3 games)

Ocho cinco 4 for 41 No TD (5/96 the following game)
TO 3 for 17 No TD (his whole season sucked, but this was his worst game all year)

Davone Bess 1 for 6 No TD (12/178 previous 2 games, 9/78 following week.)
Brandon Marshall 2 for 13 1 TD (missed game before, 21/208 TD next 2 weeks)

Hines Ward 2 for 34 No TD (8/115 week before, only 3 catches week after)

Deion Branch 3 for 64 1 TD (3/113 2TDs week before, 8/151 1TD following week)
(in a 45-3 blowout)

Other games-
* Browns have no #1, but all three of their shitty receivers combined for 7 catches/72 yards No TDs
* The Johnny Knox kid had a nice game for Chicago 92 yards and 2 TDs in a shootout. Kudos.

Playoffs so far

Reggie Wayne 1 for 1 No TD

Deion Branch 5 for 59 1 TD (Still was one of Revis' best games. He had six tackles, stopping the run, one for a loss, and broke up a huge completion with a special kind of play.

That is 28 catches for 250 yards in 9 games, between 11 Pro-Bowl caliper receivers (and pretty decent QB's delivering.)

That, my friends, is crazy

And that branch td came in garbage time. The man is the best corner in the league no question. That play where he mirrored branch and ripped the ball out was inhuman

lol You do understand this is what teams typically do when one corner is much better than another right? Its the reason why Aso gets targetted a fraction of what any other corner in the league is. If youre an offensive coordinator...do you attack Revis...or Cromartie? lol

You didnt mention what some of these teams OTHER receivers did to Cromartie...

Boldin 7 for 110 (btw...why would Revis be sticking Mason and not Boldin? I thought he always took the top WR lol)
Burleson 7 for 113 and a TD
Wallace 7 for 102
Welker 7 for 80 and a TD

Not to mention Harvin, Lloyd, Jennings and Stevie Johnson all having decent games against Revis. Harvin had a very good game actually.

Revis wasn't on boldin because he missed training camp and wasn't in football shape. People don't target aso because raiders are so bad against the run nobody needs to pass

Wilson will be a good corner he just needs time. People always want to say oh revis wasn't good against so and so. All those games daygo mentioned were in the first 6 weeks or so. But they don't want to realize revis missed all of training camp and his first game was noticeably heavier then usual. Then nagging hamstring injuries which are normal for players who hold out. Since he's gotten in game shape he's back to last years form.

"People always want to say"?

I didnt set this thread up lol. If a thread wasnt set up bragging about Revis, I wouldnt have responded. How many times to do you see me bragging about my team...or any players on my team? Even the Spurs...you dont see me bragging over and over about them. lol

Well, seeing as how you mentioned people always wanting to say Revis wasnt good against so and so. And followed it up with a sentence with my name in it...referring to my post mentioned games where Revis wasnt great...

Like I said tho, if a thread wasnt created bragging about this guy...I wouldnt have responded. I'm sure you can find many more threads bragging about him on here...then you can threads talkin shit about him.

Its the same shit u guys always hated about NIK with his Kobe obsession
