I like how it turned out. I also think it's kinda cool how Snoop wove in little clips of it into Tha Doggfather. If they were put out right after that album it would've been a really good year for Doggystyle Records because IMO their sound was rich and funky, but also distinct. It wasn't just your basic G-Funk ripoff that so many no name artists and labels had at the time.

That's what every successful label has - a distinct sound so people can tell it's them.

And the first Eastsidaz album also had a similar sound so I kind of see all three albums as a trilogy - Tha Doggfather, LBC Crew and Tha Eastsidaz. After that, Snoop and Doggystyle abandoned that sound to start following trends.

maybe if snoop had stayed on death row the trilogy would of been doggfather, lbc crew, doggumentry.

lmao at the overreactions here..alot of these r the same old bootleg q mp3 rips that ftp would have.....some of the songs were lower volume than others which means the album wasnt mastered right or at all..(which i fixed..hate playing a cd then having diff volume tracks)...one of the songs right in the middle of the cd is a radio drop for 92.3.....

 ...all that being said its a cool little compilation to have
