There's enough gays on tv as is.  I don't believe in hating anyone because they're gay but i'm sick & tired of that lifestyle being 4ced down our throats.  I've gotten along with a few gay co-workers, there's straight people who I can't stand 2 be around.  Star Trek shouldn't regret it.  Someone needs 2 think about the kids, they shouldn't be subjected to seeing that.
