Just in time for the Super Bowl this weekend, Pittsburgh Steelers fan Snoop Dog is gifting his favorite team with his favorite new toy to inspire them to victory: a customized TDK Life On Record 3-Speaker Boombox, specially tricked out for the Steelers with gold handles and trim.

Snoop was shooting a commercial in Minneapolis recently when he met and fell for the new TDK Life On Record Boombox, which blends the warm experience of analog with the precision and convenience of digital technology. He decided to order a special version for the Steelers and present them with it prior to the game. A fan of Pittsburgh since the 70s during their epic battle with the Raiders, Snoop says he "loved their attitude and the way they played" and has "been riding with them ever since."

Actually it's a Pittsburgh Steelers boombox that Snoop asked for, not a Snoop boombox like the Beatbox is for Beats & thus for Dre.
Meaning that if you buy the Beatbox because you like Dre you won't buy that boombox cause you like Snoop. Unless you love the Steelers too!

I'm happy with my Monster beatbox. TDK sounds like shit in my opinion.

I was thinking about picking that up, is it as crisp as the studio headphones? I cant find a beatbox in store to try out

Yeah the sound is clean and crips like the headphones. You won't be disappointed. I bought it at a Mac store.
