So much hypothetical talk. We should start rewarding people based off of our imaginations. With you guys, it doesn't matter if there is a lockout next season, we'll just play out the season in our heads. We'll trade players & we'll bring back retired players, dead players, future players, integrate animals into the league. I'm excited for next season.

Tom Brady was simply not as valuable as a few other QBs this year. This isn't a most TDs or least INTs or both award. This is an importance to the team award, and Tom simply wasn't as important to Pats as Vick was to the Eagles, Rodgers was to the Pack, or Peyton was to the Colts. The Pats easily could have won the division and lost in the first playoff game with Hoyer. It's a very probably reality. Where as if you look at the level of play that Vick, Manning, and Rodgers showed you can make a much stronger argument for their value. All you have to show in Brady's case are numbers. Numbers never tell the whole story.
The day they don't give an award to stats, you PM me & let me know.

I'm not saying I expected anyone else to win, but I wouldn't have voted for a lot of past winners. But McNair tied with Manning in 03 and he was very valuable that year despite not being on top in any category. I mean Emmit Smith won it once and he was easily never as valuable a RB any year as Barry Sanders. This is more than just a QB thing with Brady. This is a poster boy for the non-fans thing. They use this guy to sell merch and raise viewership to girls and yuppies who don't even watch Football. And they protect him well. So, here's to an Aaron Rodgers 3-peat!
