People want to blame Atlantic and I'm sure there's a bunch of bullshit involved with them but Lupe Fiasco was changing and you could hear it in the first two singles which didn't make the cut and that annoying ass alt-rock project.

Lupe had to compromise with them to eat and unfortunately he just doesn't have creative control like that with his projects, at least nowadays
fuck Atlantic first they screwed T.I.'s album royally, now Lupe's... I really hope Wiz is not the next one to get this kind of treatment
This album is dead to me already. All I can still bump is "Letting Go", "Beautiful Lasers", "Words I Never Said" & "Break The Chain".
You expect me to download an album that isn't real? Sorry, but I can't sign this.

How fast did Recovery play out for you? This, B.o.B's, and Em's albums all have a similar atmosphere. I don't like B.o.B or Em's albums all that much and both got tired after two listens. So far I've found more appreciation in Lupe's L.A.S.E.R.S and can handle it's content more than Recovery, which felt forced.
