Just got home and check my Emails just to read that Nate Dogg passed away, that hit me like a shock. That made me really sad and really hurts to lose such a special person.

Many musicians and other artists passed away I was looking up to, but Nate was something special. His music was a part of my life since my days in school - I have many good memories linked to Nate even though I never met him in person. So this is a really big loss for all fans of his, his friends and mostly his family. I am glad to see that so many of you sharing some good words for Nate, he really was something special.

But his music and his personality will be rembered for all time. His music will light up many days to come, his music never dies.

RIP Nate Dogg, tha soulful voice of tha g-funk. A legend in music and of tha west coast movement. He's blessed so many with his writing and voice. Thank u for tha music and u're never forgotten.

we know that all the dudes with unreleased/unheard nate dogg music

An official statement from his family will follow soon today or tomorrow several sites reported. I am pretty sure he suffered yet another stroke, a shame really. I was hoping for him to recover and at least be able to get back to hus family. Still saddens me even some hours passed now.

True west coast legend, his catalogue cannot possibly be overlooked. this guy was a true legend in the hip hop game. I shall be playing his hits all day and nite, im tryna upload his top ten hits to facebook but i must say im struggling to narrow it down
