40 Glocc & Spider Explain Graveyard Shift (allhiphop.com)

(AllHipHop News) Rappers 40 Glocc aka Big Bad 40 and Spider Loc recently sat down with AllHipHop.com to discuss their upcoming album Graveyard Shift, with Atlanta based personality, DJ Drama.

The rappers, who are affiliated with 50 Cent's G-Unit imprint, have been working on the album for over two years. The release was delayed due to Spider Loc's incarceration.

According to Big Bad 40, the concept for the album grew out of a conversation in a recording studio, while they were recording tracks.

"We on the graveyard shift man, we working late," Big Bad 40 told AllHipHop.com. "We just started from a simple conversation in the lab of talking about knocking out records. It grew and it grew until we had 45 or 50 records and then we trimmed it down. It's an independent effort, we just trying to get money, celebrate the music, and its a real natural thing."

Graveyard Shift is a 21-track release that features guest appearances from a who's-who in Hip-Hop.

Artists like Kurupt, Jayo Felony, Busta Rhymes, Gail Gotti, Tony Yayo, Noreaga and Obie Trice lend their support to the indie release.

"These are people that we both admire, and admiration is obviously mutual because everyone was easy to get down on the track it was a fun thing man we enjoyed it a lot," Spider Loc told AllHipHop.com.

Big Bad 40 and Spider Loc's collaboration album Graveyard Shift is due in stores on March 22nd.
