Nate Dogg made a big impact on my life too. When I was in college, I had a playlist that I played every morning, and half the songs featured Nate. Shit always got me hyped and ready to hustle.

I understand your point and it is a solid point to make. But you assume Nate, Kurupt, Snoop and other rappers are small beings, only capable of behaving one way and incapable of behaving multiple ways at once. Sure, they might give a fuck about a bitch one day, but another day they don't, and that is what they're talking about. Plus, they weren't always married. Their songs are talking primarily about a period in a man's life prior to marriage - whether they're currently in that period or not is irrelevant, they've been in it before and its from that experience that they're talking.

I can speak to this apparent contradiction: I've given a fuck about a bitch before. But I don't give a fuck about a bitch right now. So I take that Nate Dogg and Dogg Pound shit to heart, the game they drop speaks to my life. And any real Gs on this website would vouch for the validity of the game that these niggas are dropping.
