LAPD release official statement in Nipsey Hussle incident


On Tuesday, the LAPD released an official statement regarding an officer involved shooting connected to a conflict Nipsey Hussle was connected to last Friday.

LAPD officers arrived to a shooting in progress near Slauson Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard in South Los Angeles, when they witnessed Samiel Ashghedom, 29, shooting his weapon, but the LAPD are alleging that he pointed his gun at the officers, even though witnesses claim he was shooting in the air.

Fortunately for Ashghedom, the LAPD officer that returned fire was a bad shot missing him all together.

The news release characterized the conflict as a “fight between gang members” and that the Gang Intervention Taskforce are investigating a possible crime against the officer.

I was in Six-0 hood afterward and everyone seemed to be very vague about the situation with him. I don't want to be the one to say he was kicked out or whatever but to tell you the truth, where Ni lived, it wasn't really deep in the hood where I be at but from what it seems alot of niggas from the 0 aint got no love for him.

I'll see if I can get all the details and because info gets misconstrued on the internet.

Is this really shocking though? IMO this is one of the things that's messing up hip-hop for the west coast the constant gangbang/street politics instead of just music.

When i first heard Nipsey back in 2008 i knew it was only a matter of time before this happened because i've watched it happen with so many other west coast mc's. I bet sooner or later someone will come out and tell us how fake Nipsey is and stuff.

The "constant gangbang" is only messing up things for idiots like Nipsey Hussle.  I remember in those butthurt interviews he was giving right after he got dropped fom his label, he was talking about how out of all the LA rappers he was the only one in the "streets" out here.  The idiot doesn't realize your goal should be to move out of the hood, not stay there.
