where is the new sound? INAD is Alex da kid's sound and Em's sound, not Dre's.

Dre open the Door with his Album for New and Upcoming Producers and Artists he said this in an Interview for about 4-5 Years
I think he produced a couple of Song of his Album the Rest from other Producers.
The last 2 Albums was Produced by Dr.Dre ,Mel Man , Scott Storch , ....The Chronic co producer DAZ, SONGS: Natural Born Killaz Produced by DRE and SAM SNEED,California Love DRE and JFLEXX, Keep there Heads ringin DRE and SAM SNEED,not Dre alone produced this Tracks or Albums
Kush is prod. by DJ Khalil and mixed by Dr.Dre

Co-sign... It's bullshit that the #1 West Coast rap website on the net has all this hate for Dre and Detox.   This forum should have love for Dre and Detox more than anywhere else, this should be a place for Dre's true fans.

Well it's hard to judge a song when its half-finished, unmixed and unmastered.  I'm sure if you heard 2001 tracks like that back in the day, you would be saying the same thing.  I feel like this is just 2001 repeating itself all over again.  I remember people were hating at the beginning cuz it sounded nothing like The Chronic.  After it came out, everyone loved it.

Still. D.R.E. is worlds apart from anything on The Chronic.  If you heard instrumentals only, you would never ever guess it was Dre.

Also to me Mr. Prescription doesn't sound like Timbo.  Timbo's drums are completely different.  I'm pretty sure if Dre polished that track Dre style it would be a HUGE club hit.  I see what your saying about that synth tho.  I just think it is a "futuristic" sounding effect or something.  Also I like that Turnin Me On song, that's dope.

EDIT: INAD has potential imo.  Maybe had...  I think if he cleaned it up and polished it a bit it would be much better.  Those drums are hard on the ears and I think he could have changed the rock feel to a more hip-hop feel buy just changing those drums a bit.

Bullshit! There's plenty of good westcoast rap, which unfortunately won't be very succesful commercially. And there's some commercially succesful rap music that's very enjoyable as well. But to me nothing I heard by now fits one of those two options. I don't hate on Detox because I don't care but I fully understand the disappointment with the music.
If Detox is a kiler album when it drops great, but don't act like you can't see why people doubt it.

I'm 30 BTW and Niggaz4Life was my first rap album. I witnessed the music evolve and I don't expect any G-Funk. Plus I listen to a lot of music outside of rap and I go by one principle: Good music is good music. Detox leaks so far are simply average.

Talk about hypocritical, people not allowed to critcise it, but you are allowed to defend an album that no-one has heard. People are allowed opinions. If they feel the supposed Detox tracks that have leaked are wack, then let them feel that way. By the way, all the leaked tracks so far have been below average.

Detox is going to have to sell great numbers to live up to expectations.  In order to do that Dre is going to need to cater the album to more than just his original fan base. 

The thing I find odd, is that Dre has been know to be a perfectionist and not leak material prior to releasing album. People also frequently complain that Dre is so stingy with his unrealeased material.  Now, the same people are complaining about the songs that actually leak. It justifies Dre's hesitance to put out material and only enforces his reputation as a perfectionist. 

I think we should enjoy the leaks for what they are, and wait to judge Detox until it finally drops.

It doesnt have to sell shit to live up to expectations. Id rather have good music and poor sales than shit music and mega numbers

No INAD is FAR from being in his top 5 successful solo singles. Check the sales figures from the old singles and how many people love those songs and can recite every word from them.

Just because it was #4 on BillBoard Hot 100 it does not mean its more successful than Still D.R.E. or some of the other singles he has released in the past.
