whats the deal with this? newver heard of it is it a doggystyle records shelved release?  anyone got all the info on it??

yeah...this was his shelved Doggystyle release...it leaked but it sounds like it was ripped from a vinyl promo because as the album goes on it sounds like the needle is getting dirty because the sound quality gets worse and sorse...shit still bangs tho...Kokane was at the top of his funk game on this album...damn shame it was never officially released?

i dont kno tho. all subjective, i guess

but the album sucks imo.. 

Snoop scrapped it, cuz the finished Kokane-material was wack. thats what Soopafly said..

Ya some songs could sound a little better but overall I think Thy Kingdom Come sounds pretty damn good for never being released officially.

Probably means there were no viable singles on it which I can undersand.

We have no idea what the label got to hear anyway. The 18+ track advance wouldn't even fit on a real CD...

First advance is not crap but not on point. I mean it lacks some funk. When you hear "Locs at nite", the Kokane solo joint on the Doggystyle allstar compilation, you would expect much more from Kokane.

Imma hook you with a compil with the best of his solo work, for the sceptics like Mr Madsen, so you have a better taste of what Kokane is really about..
